MONICA TOEWS BROWN

Ms JENNY AITCHISON (Maitland—Minister for Regional Transport and Roads) —Monica Toews Brown was a recent nominee in the Maitland Local Woman of the Year Awards. Monica has a genuine care for people's safety in the workplace, and strives to improve the workplaces of fellow Maitland residents. In 2022 Monica was named WHS Champion of the Year at the Hunter Safety Awards, Monica says "Safety is a mindset, and these awards help us develop a stronger safety mindset locally and looking after locals means everything to us". Monica loves giving back to the community. In 2022, Monica sponsored the Special Children's Christmas Party, and also the local Maitland Christmas Lolly Run. Monica continues to be a great role model to her three daughters, demonstrating what hard work, passion, and dedication can achieve. Monica is most worthy of recognition as a valued and valuable member of the Maitland Community.
