Ms JENNY AITCHISON (Maitland—Minister for Regional Transport and Roads)—Ken Page is an Automotive Trainer at the Hunter Trade College and has been named as a regional finalist in the NSW Training Awards Trainer of the year category. The Awards honour and reward the achievements of students, teachers, training organisations and employers in Vocational Education and Training. The Hunter Trade College is a senior school and a Registered Training Organisation offering a comprehensive work placement program for young people. The hands-on approach to training, quality facilities, give students the chance to thrive in their chosen trade. Ken is beloved of both staff and students; he has a genuine passion and enthusiasm for his trade and imparting his skills and knowledge to our next generation of tradespeople. Ken demonstrates a high level of integrity in his daily actions and inspires others hold themselves to a higher standard. Ken builds an amazing rapport with the students and is a great role model for young people. I wish Ken all the best at the Regional Awards ceremony on 23rd June.
