GWYNNETH PATRICIA GREENAWAY AND FREDERICK ARTHUR LEROY "ROY" DAVIES
Ms JENNY AITCHISON (Maitland—Minister for Regional Transport and Roads) - On this day in 1953, Gwynneth Patricia Greenaway and Frederick Arthur Leroy "Roy" Davies were married at the little St Wilfrid's church in Arley in the United Kingdom. I was excited to visit them along with their daughter, Lynne, in Thornton on Saturday as they celebrated 70 years of marriage. I was so inspired. I particularly give them a little shout-out today because it is the anniversary. Most of us are happy to make it to 70 years of life, but 70 years of joyful partnership is incredible. Before I was in Parliament, I was a tour operator, and I remember spending time with them on tour. They were always so charming and so lovely together. They are a real inspiration to everyone in our community.
TEMPORARY SPEAKER (Mr Alex Greenwich): I wish them a happy anniversary.
