Ms JENNY AITCHISON (Maitland)—May 20th and 21st will see Maitland hosting the much anticipated Taste Festival. Maitland is a vital part of the Hunter Valley food experience and our city is a definite foodie's paradise. The event will be sponsored by the Mutual Bank of Maitland who have provided support for our community ever since 1888. The Taste Festival is a premier event showcasing the food and wines available in our city and produced in our region. The festival also provides opportunities for local performers to engage with crowds eager to experience live music once again. Organisers will deliver a program including pop-up eateries, art installations, wineries, food trucks and a cosy laneway bar. The Levee precinct will host a range of art exhibitions and the popular Slow Food Hunter Valley's Farmer's Table will return. I commend Maitland City Council Events Officer Janine Chandler and the Events Team on their work to plan, curate and deliver the Taste Festival and I wish them every success as I know the community and visitors will experience something unique, and tasty.
