Ms JENNY AITCHISON (Maitland)—Congratulations to Mrs Pat Alderman OAM for her selfless involvement with the East Maitland branch of the Country Women's Association of NSW [CWA NSW]. Due to her husband's work, Pat moved around NSW and participated in many CWA branches. However, when Mrs Alderman joined East Maitland, she took on positions at branch level, always willingly partaking in functions as well as group meetings. Pat has attended many State Conferences throughout her 32.2 years, too. Her most recent role at East Maitland, of hall convener, was very much appreciated. Pat's bookwork was impeccable, she had everything in order and always gave very good reports at the meeting, letting the members know exactly what was happening with the hall. Now in her 90s, Mrs Alderman also contributed to the Red Cross. On 8 June 2015, she was awarded the Order of Australia Medal for community services with the Red Cross and CWA NSW. Congratulations Pat, and thank you for your contribution. It is wonderful to be able to acknowledge you in this centenary year of the CWA.
