Shadow Minister for Small Business, Jenny Aitchison, will be hosting a small business roundtable in Broken Hill this Friday, 28 October, as part of her state-wide consultation process.
Small businesses are the core of the NSW economy, with a significant proportion of the rural and regional workforce employed in the sector.
Ms Aitchison owned and operated an award winning family tourism and hospitality business with more than 30 staff for nearly two decades before her entry to Parliament. Ms Aitchison’s visit to Broken Hill comes as part of a state wide consultation tour to hear from businesses in rural and regional areas, including Queanbeyan, Wollongong, Goulburn, Dubbo and Broken Orange.
The roundtable will be held at the Regional Development Australia Far West office between 1-3pm and is open to all small business stakeholders in Broken Hill and surrounding areas.
